Indiana 4-H Crossbred Classic Swine Scholarship

Crossbred Classic 4-H Swine Scholarships, funded by proceeds from the Crossbred Classic Boar and Gilt Sale. Two $2,500 scholarships will be presented (unless there are not qualified applicants) to 4-H swine members who have exhibited in the 4-H swine department of the Indiana State Fair at least five (5) of the last ten (10) years. The recipients must have graduated from high school, be in their last year of 4-H eligibility, be of good character and be in good standing with the Indiana State Fair.
 
The Crossbred Classic Scholarship may be used by the 4-H recipient for any formal post high school training and/or education which leads to a degree. The check shall be made payable jointly to the 4-H recipient and the respec­tive college, university or trade school upon receipt of notification of comple­tion of the first semester and enrollment in the second semester. A letter of credit will be presented to the 4-H recipient during the Champion Crossbred barrow drive. Application deadline on or before July 1st.
